In Revelation, the Word of God is not a book — He is a Rider on a white horse, His name on His robe and a sword in His mouth.
What the name means
This is the same Logos of John 1 — the Word that spoke creation now returns to speak judgment.
His weapon is His mouth — the Word conquers by speaking, not by striking. His word is the sword.
The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword — it divides soul and spirit, joint and marrow (Heb 4:12).
How to pray this name
- Pray: 'Word of God, speak — Your word is the sword that defeats what I cannot.'
- Pray it over strongholds — the Word does not negotiate; it conquers.
Word of God, whose name is on the Rider's robe, speak Your conquering word over my life. In the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen.
