How to keep the Table
Prayer at the Table
Father, I come to Your Table not because I am worthy, but because Your Son is. Thank You for the body broken and the blood poured out for me. As I eat, let Your life renew my body. As I drink, let Your blood cleanse my conscience, silence every accusation and seal Your covenant over my household. I forgive as I have been forgiven. I proclaim Your death until You come, and I take my seat as a child at my Father's Table. In the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen.
Declarations over the bread and the cup
- By His body broken, I am healed — sickness has no covenant with me.
- By His blood poured out, I am forgiven, cleansed and without condemnation.
- The blood speaks a better word over my life than every accusation raised against me.
- My household is under the covering of the Lamb; the destroyer passes over.
- I proclaim the Lord's death until He comes, and I will keep this Table until I see His face.
