What the name means
On the Mount of Transfiguration, the Father spoke over Jesus: 'Listen to Him' — the Prophet's authority is final.
He is more than a foreteller; He is God's last word — 'In the past God spoke through prophets, but in these last days by His Son.'
To reject the Prophet is to reject the One who sent Him — listening to Him is the command of the Father.
