Isaiah holds three titles together: Judge, Lawgiver, King — and Savior. The One who writes the law is also the One who saves.
What the name means
The Lawgiver does not impose from outside — He writes His law on the heart by the Spirit (Jer 31:33).
He is Judge, Lawgiver and King in one: His verdict, His standard and His rule are all perfectly aligned.
The Lawgiver is also Savior — He does not give a law He will not help you keep, and He saves those who cannot.
How to pray this name
- Pray: 'Lawgiver, write Your law on my heart and save me when I cannot keep it.'
- Pray it for justice — the Lawgiver's standard will not be overruled by any court.
Lawgiver and Savior, write Your law on my heart. Be my Judge, my King and my Deliverer. In the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen.
