What the name means
Light came first in creation and comes first in fear — God illuminates the threat before He removes it.
The rhetorical questions are faith's math: if the LORD is mine, the giants subtract to nothing.
One thing David asked for — to dwell in His house — because the Light is also the Home.
How to pray this name
- Answer fear with the verse: 'Whom shall I fear?' — then name the fear and watch it shrink.
- Ask for light specifically where you are confused; He gives seeing before He gives steps.
