What the name means
Holiness is not coldness — the Holy One of Israel redeems, dwells among and teaches His people.
Isaiah's vision pairs 'Holy, holy, holy' with 'Woe is me' — then with a coal of cleansing from the altar.
The same Holy One now lives in believers by the Spirit — awe and intimacy in one Person.
How to pray this name
- Begin with reverence: 'Holy One, I worship You as You are, not as I would make You.'
- Invite His holiness to Search and burn away what is not of Him.
Qedosh Yisrael, Holy One of Israel, make me holy as You are holy — set apart, burning, clean. In the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen.
