Living Water — the spring that satisfies thirst forever and wells up to eternal life

Jesus offered living water to a woman who had been drinking from broken wells her whole life. He is the spring that satisfies from the inside out.
What the name means
Jeremiah 2:13 says God is the fountain of living water — His people abandoned Him for cracked cisterns that hold no water.
Whoever drinks this water will never thirst again — it becomes a spring welling up to eternal life (John 4:14).
On the last day of the feast, Jesus promised rivers of living water — the Spirit — to all who come to Him (John 7:37-38).
How to pray this name
- Pray: 'Living Water, satisfy my thirst — I stop drinking from broken wells.'
- Pray it for the Spirit — the living water is the Spirit poured out from Christ.
Living Water, spring up in me. Satisfy my thirst forever and become a river through me to others. In the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen.
