Resurrection life is contagious. When one part of you rises, it pulls the rest along. Let your worship rise, and watch your hope rise with it. Let your faith rise, and watch your courage follow.
Today, choose to live as one who has been raised. Speak like it. Pray like it. Love like it. The power that emptied the tomb is the same power that fills your ordinary obedience with glory.
Do not measure your walk with God by how you feel this morning. Feelings are weather; covenant is climate. There will be days when the fire feels far away and the heavens feel like brass. On those days, do not renegotiate the truth — rehearse it. Preach to your own soul until your soul remembers who it belongs to.
Whatever this day holds, you are not walking into it alone or unarmed. You go with the word of God in your mouth, the Spirit of God in your chest, the blood of Jesus over your life and the intercession of Christ at the right hand of the Father. That is not a hopeful thought — that is your legal standing.
The Prayer
Pray it slowly, out loud, movement by movement
1. Adoration
Father of light, You see what I cannot see and You have already been where I am going. Nothing surprises You, nothing overwhelms You, and nothing has ever fallen outside Your governing hand.
2. Confession
I repent of the timidity that has disguised itself as wisdom, and the silence that has disguised itself as humility. I have shrunk back where You called me to stand. I have kept my testimony private to keep my life comfortable.
3. Petition
Give me eyes to see what You see and courage to do what You say. Break the fear of man off my life. Let me speak the truth in love, give without calculating, and step out before all the evidence is in.
4. Consecration
I will not shrink back, I will not settle, and I will not be silent about Your goodness. Send me, and I will go. In the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen.
