The Lamb and the Lion

Opening · Section 1 of 11
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
2 Timothy 1:7Read full chapter →
Resurrection is not a doctrine you defend; it is a power you live in. The empty tomb is not merely a historical claim — it is the engine of your daily victory. Whatever the world buried, God is able to raise.
Live today on the far side of the stone. You are not trying to earn life; you have already been given it. The question is no longer whether He rose, but whether you will rise with Him.
Every command of God carries the grace to obey it inside itself. He does not ask you for something and then walk away to see whether you can manage. The instruction is the invitation, and the invitation always comes with supply. If He has said 'go', there is grace in the going. If He has said 'wait', there is grace in the waiting.
End the day by reviewing it with God rather than replaying it with your anxiety. Where did you see Him? Where did you resist Him? What is one thing to thank Him for, and one thing to bring back to the altar? Reviewed days become discipled years.
The Prayer
Pray it slowly, out loud, movement by movement
1. Adoration
Lord Jesus, You are the Restorer of broken things. Nothing that has been surrendered to You has ever stayed ruined. You rebuild ruins, redeem years, and make the scarred places into testimonies. I worship You as the One who never wastes a wound.
2. Confession
There are altars in my life that I allowed to fall — disciplines abandoned, promises neglected, a first love that cooled while I was distracted by good things. I do not blame my season or my circumstance. I own it, and I bring it back to You.
3. Petition
Rebuild what I let fall. Restore the altar, rekindle the flame, renew my first love. Repair what my choices damaged and heal what other people's choices broke. Let the second half of this story be greater than the first.
4. Consecration
I return to You the whole of my heart — no corner reserved, no door locked, no room off limits. Take all of it and set it ablaze. In the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen.
